This document covers two independent apps developed and published by Todd Clement: Moto Shed (a vehicle maintenance tracker) and Burn (an intermittent fasting tracker). Together they are referred to as "the Apps." Where a section applies to only one app, it is clearly labeled.
Shared Privacy Practices
Information You Enter & Local Storage
The Apps let you enter information relevant to their purpose (for example, in Moto Shed: vehicles, service history, fuel logs, parts, notes, and photos; in Burn: fasting times, streaks, weight, and height). This information is stored only on your device. It is not automatically transmitted to us or to any third party, with the single exception described in the Moto Shed section below.
Export & Import (Data Portability)
You may export your data (for example, to a JSON, CSV, or PDF file, depending on the app) for backup or to move it to another device, and you may import a previously exported file to restore your data. These actions are initiated solely by you from within the App. Exported files are stored wherever you choose (device storage or a cloud drive you select). We do not have access to these files.
Data Security & Your Responsibility
Because your data and any exported files are stored locally or in locations you choose, please keep your device and backups secure. Consider device-level encryption, strong passcodes, and secure storage locations to prevent unauthorized access.
Deleting Your Data
You can delete your data at any time within the App (for example, via a "Reset" or "Delete All Data" option). Deletion is permanent on the device. If you previously exported a backup, that backup remains wherever you saved it until you delete it.
Legal & Compliance
Depending on your region, privacy laws (such as GDPR or CCPA) may grant you rights over your personal data. Because the Apps do not transmit your data to us, you exercise those rights directly through each App's controls (e.g., export, delete). If you have questions about how these rights apply to you, please contact us.
Moto Shed — App-Specific Terms
Vehicle Recall & Safety Monitoring (NHTSA)
If you enter a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), Moto Shed uses it to look up and monitor safety recall data from the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The VIN is sent to NHTSA solely for this purpose. This is the only situation in which information you enter leaves your device, and it happens only when you choose to enter a VIN.
Recall Information Is Not a Guarantee
Recall and safety information is provided by NHTSA and is offered for convenience only. It may be incomplete, delayed, or unavailable, and it is not a substitute for a professional inspection or the manufacturer's official recall channels. Always confirm safety-critical information with the manufacturer or a qualified mechanic.

Burn — App-Specific Terms
Not Medical Advice — Important Health Disclaimer
Burn is a self-tracking and informational tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Fasting timers, metabolic phase labels (such as "fat burning," "ketosis," or "autophagy"), weight figures, and BMI values are general informational estimates only and may not reflect what is happening in your body.
Intermittent fasting is not appropriate for everyone. Consult a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any fast or making changes to your diet, especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, under 18, diabetic or taking medication that affects blood sugar, have a history of an eating disorder, or have any underlying medical condition. If you feel unwell while fasting, stop and seek appropriate care.
You use Burn and make any health, diet, or fasting decisions at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any injury, illness, or harm of any kind arising from your use of the App or reliance on the information it displays.

Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of These Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Moto Shed or Burn, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Apps.
2. No Implied Warranties; Use at Your Own Risk
The Apps are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind — even implied ones — such as merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or reliability. You assume all risk by using the Apps.
3. No Liability
Under no circumstances will the developer — including Todd Clement — or anyone involved in creating or distributing the Apps be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages suffered by you or any third party, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, personal injury, illness, or other intangible loss, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. This includes, without limitation, any harm arising from health or fasting decisions made in connection with Burn, or from reliance on vehicle, maintenance, or recall information in Moto Shed.
4. No Expectation of Support
There is no obligation to provide support, maintenance, updates, or further development of the Apps.
5. Affiliate Disclosure
Some links in the Apps (for example, on a Parts page) may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you click a link and make a purchase, at no additional cost to you. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
6. Third-Party Stores
The Apps are distributed through third-party platforms such as the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Your use is also subject to those platforms' terms. Those platforms are not responsible for the Apps and provide no warranty regarding them.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
8. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy and these Terms of Use at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Apps after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
